Welcome to the website of The Arts Society Rickmansworth  

This site gives information about the society and allows you to download membership forms and booking forms for forthcoming events as well as give feedback.  More details can be found under the 'Our Society/About Us' tab.

Lectures are in Sarratt Village Hall. 

Visitors are welcome to our lectures - a donation of £10 per visitor is suggested.

Other Events

TASR also arranges an annual 5-8 day trip either in the UK or Europe (2026 is to  Liverpool and 2027 is to Vienna) and a Special Interest Day (normally in November) which in 2026 will be "The History, Art and Architecture of Venice". Visits to places of interest are also arranged thoughout each year - go to Whats on Page of the website for more details.

TOURS & HOLIDAYS

The 2027 tour is a 6 day trip to Vienna departing 30th September. Cost from £1,869. Click here for booking form and more information.

SPECIAL INTEREST

Our Special Interest Day for 2026 is on the 6th November by Jo Walton and will be about Venice. Further details and a booking form will be available in due course. 

VOLUNTEERS

We need you to volunteer to help as TASR relies on volunteers for its success.  We need to keep our membership at around 200 to ensure we have the funds to engage top class speakers.  We also need volunteers to enable us to run other activities which are self-financing such as visits and special interest days. Please look at the volunteer form in Documents (link here) and see how you can help and send the completed form to rickmansworth@theartssociety.org or hand the form to Rodney Salter or any committee member. AGM

Last years  AGM was held on the 9th September 2025 The draft minutes of the AGM is available in Documents. The 2024/25 Annual Report is available in the documents section or click here. This years AGM will be held before the lecture on the 8th September 2026.
